ANP announces candidates for Buner constituencies

BUNER: The Awami National Party (ANP) announced party tickets for the provincial and national constituencies of the Buner on Tuesday.  As per details, party ticket for NA-28 was awarded to senior party leader Haji Rauf Khan of Karapa, he was also former District Nazim of Buner.

Similarly, former MPA Qaiser Wali Khan received the party ticket for PK-78 constituency and MPA Sardar Hussain Babak was awarded the party ticket for his own constituency PK-77 and Afsar Khan of Sultanwas is lucky to have first time to get the party ticket for PK-79.

The first time candidate for PK-79 Bakht Afsar Khan of Sultanwas is popular among locals for his family background and political activities besides social activities mostly bridging gap among family members and among those were lodger head for quite long.

However, this constituency was many times won by the ANP candidate Said Rahim Khan Advocate who is now feeling not well due to physical disorders because of illness but still he is pressing hard for awarding him ticket for this constituency PK-79 otherwise demanded ticket for NA-28 in case of ignorance he was time and again threatened of contesting elections as independent from PK-79 and NA 28 as well.

The ANP received record application for the party tickets and party leadership announced the party tickets after discussions. At this stage the PPPP, QWP, PMLN, AWP position is not clear but they will definitely award party tickets to candidate for PK-79 and may be entered into alliance within or otherwise.

The rest of political parties have yet to announce its candidates as the JI,JUI-F, PPPP, PML-N, AWP and QWP still undecided as none of these parties so far been announced candidates in Buner.
