Two youth killed in Dir road accidents

TIMERGARA: Two youth were killed in different road accidents in Adenzai area here on Wednesday, residents and police said. They said a youth identified as Farman son of Rasol Khan of Jnago village was killed when a loaded tractor trolley ran over him. They said the deceased first fell from the trolley on which he worked.
Similarly another youth Muhammad Ilyas of Ouch village also succumbed to his injury who was hit by a speeding car at Shahbaz Shaheed Chowk Ouch. The residents held protest rally after the incident. They told local journalists that due to over speeding and lack of speed breakers on the road at Ouch Chowk, three accidents had occurred in a week. They demanded of the NHA authorities to fix speed breakers at Shahbaz Shaheed Chowk Ouch.
PPP reorganization: The Pakistan People Party Lower Dir newly elected president and former provincial minister Mehmood Zeb has said the party had planned to reorganize workers in all parts of the district in order to make it the most popular party like the past.
He was addressing a party meeting at Mayar Jandol here on Wednesday. Party activists advocate Alam Zeb, Dr Tahir, advocate Jehan Bahadar, Shafiullah and others also spoke on the occasion. Mehmood Zeb said the PPP had got a young, energetic and qualified leader in the shape of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. He said the party lost its glory because of internal rifts. He said that he had planned to reorganize the party on village and union council level in Lower Dir. He asked party workers to choose genuine and committed leadership on gross root level.
Sehat Sahulat cards: Residents of tehsil Khall in Lower Dir have demanded of the provincial coordinator Sehat Sahulat cards programme to take notice of the discrimination with poor people of their area as deserving people had not been included in the programme. 
Talking to local journalists at Timergara the area elders including tehsil councilor Hayat Khan and Anwar ul Haq said that as many as 91000 Sehat sahulat cards' token had been distributed in other areas of the district while four union councils of the Khall tehsil had been ignored. They said the area was also neglected in the previous Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) in the past. They said the concerned authorities should take notice of this negligence. The elders threatened protest in case the area was not included in the recent sehat Insaf programme.
