ISLAMABAD (APP): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Babar Awan on Saturday said that theft committed by “Godfather 2” is proven in Panama Leaks case.
Calling Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif as Godfather 2, the PTI leader said, “The allegations against him are enough for his disqualification. New sun will rise from Monday with the hearing of Supreme Court (SC) in Panama Paper issue.”
Babar Awan also demanded to arrest those who gave orders to Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Chairman Muhammad Zafar Hijazi for record tempering.
Talking on Panama Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report, he said, “Names of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif were prominent and that approximately 35 people were found accused in the report. Three names were mentioned in Hudaibiya Paper Mill who gathered money.”
Earlier, Babar Awan said, “Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar is accused of money laundering, he should resign along with PM Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
Only one case has opened against the Sharif family, and it has made all of them as thieves.” Babar Awan added that, “There is no institution in this country which has not demanded the resignation of these officials.”
