Bhansali’s ‘Padmavat’ to clash with ‘PadMan’ on January 25

MUMBAI: The much awaited and controversy hit Padmavat which was earlier titled Padmavati has finally got a release date and it will clash on the box office on January 25 of Akshay Kumar’s Padman.

Earlier, Padmavat was earlier scheduled to release on December 1, 2017 and it delayed after the Rajputi community raised objections on the portrayal of the queen’s role in the film.

Now the producer announced that Padmavat to be release on 25 January on republic day and it will be clash between the two big and much awaited movies because is also scheduled to be release on the same day.

The film stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the lead role and is inspired by Malik Muhammad Jayasi’s Padmavat.
