Bilawal directs inquiry into killing of Mehsud in police encounter

KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Peoples’ Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has taken notice of the controversial killing of a youth from South Waziristan identified as Naseemullah Mehsud alias Naqeebullah and asked the Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Siyal to conduct an inquiry in the case.

Earlier on January 13, SSP Rao Anwar claimed killed four terrorists in police encounter including Naseemullah, allegedly affiliated with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.

The family of the deceased rejected the killing of Naseemullah and termed it extrajudicial killing and the relative while talking to private news channel told that the deceased came to Karachi from South Waziristan one year ago and ran a clothing shop at Al-Asif Square, and was not involved in any unlawful activities.

After the claims of SSP Rao Anwar, social media expressed its thoughts on Naseemullah’s killing, with some expressing their condolences over his death and some questioned the fake encounters of SSP Rao Anwar.
