Bouncer strategy worked for NZ: Ramiz

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Former captain and cricket analyst Ramiz Raja believes the ‘bouncer strategy’ has worked very well for New Zealand in destroying Pakistan’s batting in the second ODI on Tuesday.

Pakistan team suffered their second defeat of the tour of New Zealand, after the Black Caps won by eight wickets under the Duckworth Lewis Method on Tuesday.

In a social networking website ‘Twitter’ Raja tweeted, “So NZ squeezed the breath out of Pak batting by executing a bouncer strategy mixed with great fielding and garnishing the act with spin sprinkling!! Too much on the plate for Pakistan to digest.”

Currently New Zealand lead the five-match series by 2-0. The third ODI between New Zealand and Pakistan will be played on Saturday (January 13).
