PESHAWAR: City police solved two blind murders cases and arrested the killers involved in robberies and murders, says SSP Operation Peshawar.

Addressing a joint press conference at Malik Saad Police Line on Wednesday, SSP operation Javed Iqbal along with SP Cannt Wasim Riaz and SSP Investigation said police arrested three robbers involved in the murder of a medical student Wajid Ali Khan who was shot dead by unknown robbers on November 04 2017 in Academy Town.

After the murder police, CCPO Muhammad Tahir Khan formed a team under the supervision of SSP Operation led by SP Cantt Wasim Riaz.

The team traced out the killers and arrested Fazal Rahim, Noraab Gul and Muhammad Haroon from Mathra. Police also recovered the snatched mobile phone and pistol used in the killing.

SSP Operation said that police also arrested another robber who was involved in the killing of a shopkeeper in the jurisdiction of Chamkani Police Station.

He said that one Gul Muhammad was shot dead on February, 15 in Chamkani when he was on way home from his bakery shop. He added that police traced out the killer and arrested Shahid Ullah and recovered the pistol used in the murder.
