CM directs officers for smooth running of department’s affairs

PESHAWAR:KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has directed the high ups of all  departments to share their professional experiences and institutional  memory of the departments with their incumbents so that the newly posted officers could easily continue and run the affairs after transfer or  retirement of their seniors.

The institutional work should not hamper or put in delay. He said  that lack of the culture of transfer of institutional memory caused  wastage of time and resources and in the process the problems left  unresolved.

He was chairing a high level meeting at CM house Peshawar that took stock of the implementation  process on the announcements of developmental schemes made by the Chief  Minister during his visit to Shamozai Swat wherein a number of decision  were taken to speed up the pace of work on it. Provincial Minister for  Sports Mehmood Khan, CM Advisors Dr. Amjad, Mushtaq Ghani and other  concerned authorities attended the meeting. “Unfortunately this malady has spread all over the country that  must be addressed accordingly”, he added. The meeting was told that  sports stadium Kabal has been completed while section-4 has been imposed  for acquisition of land for Shamozai sports stadium wherein the  estimate of the cost of the land was also being completed and will be  given final shape by next week.

The Chief Minister directed for completing the Shamozai Sports  Stadium by accelerating work on it as well as submitting summary for  Matta, Daroshkhela and Khararai graveyards. He also instructed to ensure  purchase of land for Khapal Kor Foundation Model School in Swat,  solving the land acquisition issue of government degree college in PK-82  and starting construction work on it as soon as possible.

The meeting was told that PC-1 for upgradation of civil hospital at Barikot has been prepared while  the land for Umang special children school needed identification.

The Chief Minister directed for imposing section-4 on concerned  land for Matta College Sports ground and Park as well as solving the  land acquisition problems of other developmental schemes.

He summoned another meeting for removing the hurdles in timely  completion of other schemes to be attended by the concerned authorities  including SMBR . He called upon the concerned officers to discharge  their obligations for the timely completion of the public welfare  schemes.

He further asked to ensure 100% implementation on governmental  instructions in all such welfare schemes.
