Corruption, terrorism have close links: Javed Iqbal

ISLAMABAD: Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has said that corruption and terrorism have close links and adding that it is very essential to rooted out corruption to put end on the terrorism.

This he said while talking to private news outlet on Saturday. He said that illegal earned money used in terrorists activities so it is essential to rooted out the corruption from the country.

Iqbal appreciated the campaign against the corruption crackdown against the corrupt people in Arab countries and adding that it is very encouraging that the campaign against the corruption was moving forward.

He added that “Accountability for All” slogan will be strictly implemented and no one would be allowed to loot the public money and move freely without the fear of the law

Previously NAB was used as a tool of political victimization but now the bureau will be utilizing all its resources to end the corruption in the country and make sure the accountability of corrupt people.
