Faizabad sit-in: Government has lost its control, says Khursheed Shah

SUKKUR: Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah has said that government is completely failed in handling the situation after the religious parties’ starts sit-in in Islamabad.

This he said while talking to media persons at Sukkur on Monday. Shah said that the prolonged sit-in indicates that the government has lost its writ in the country and few people sealed the capital without any fear and causing distress millions of people living in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

The government responded very weakly to the situation and protestors get more courage from the government weak stance and continued its protest without any fear, Shah added.

PPP leader added that If the government doesn’t want to take action against the protestor then it should resign because the continuous sit-in protest indicates that the government is weak and end of its writ which is shameful.

While commenting on Nawaz Sharif recent comments, Shah responded that Nawaz Sharif should respect the court decision and he needs to ask from his interior minister about the return of Pervez Musharaf.

Shah further added that PPP wants that the incumbent government its tenure and adding that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s demand for early elections is unnecessary.
