FC holds free medical camp in Qamar Din Karez

ZHOB: On the special directives of Inspector General of Frontier Corps Major General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum, supervised by Commandant Col. Rehan Satti, Zhob Militia set up a day-long free medical camp in bordering area Qamar Din Karez where hundreds of deserving patients including 270 men, 285 women and 325 children suffering from various diseases were treated.

Moreover, food items were also distributed among the area people. Medical team, comprising specialist doctors with paramedic staff examined over eight hundred patients including women, children and aged persons, providing them free medicines. Para medical staff carried out clinical examination of patients free of cost.

The medical camp was organized by Zhob Militia in the remote and backward area of the district. Talking to media persons Wing Commander said that Qamar Din Karez is a backward area, having neither agriculture nor livestock. “As gesture of solidarity and to provide health services to marginalized community at doorstep in the backward areas of the province all possible measures are being taken for the purpose”. He said.

He further said that FC holds free medical camps in various parts of the province periodically, where thousands of patients are being provided medicines free of cost. FC doctors are extending their expertise in free medical camps set up for the poor and needy patients in rural areas. He added.

Meanwhile, residents of the area highly appreciated endeavors of FC to mitigate sufferings of patients living in the distant areas and suggested more camps in future.

Labourer burnt: Saddam – a labourer of a construction company on D.I Khan highway burnt badly when he fell a victim to flames in a construction camp near Toryan area here. To keep himself warm the labourer tried to light fire and sprinkled oil. The victim has been moved to hospital for treatment.
