Hameeduddin Sialwi to reconsider resignation demand if Rana Sana clarifies stance

LAHORE (NNI): Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Zaeem Qadri has on Tuesday stated that Pir Hameeduddin Sialwi has offered to reconsider his demand for Rana Sanaullah’s demand if the provincial law minister comes to him and clarifies the stance on the finality of Prophet (s.a.w).

Talking to a private television channel, Zaeem Qadri said that earlier Pir Hameeduddin Sialwi had demanded Rana Sanaullah’s resignation but now he was ready to reconsider his demand if Rana Sanaullah comes to him and clarifies his stance over the issue of the finality of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w).

“Pir Hameeduddin Sialwi is highly respected among the religious circles and he said that Rana Sanaullah must clarify his stance before me. I told him that Rana Sanaullah has already clarified his stance on the media repeatedly and if he comes to you now and says the same, there won’t remain any confusion”.

When asked if Rana Sanaullah was ready to resign in this case, Zaeem Qadri said that the demand for resignation was unconditional previously but now it had been linked with the clarification.

Habib Akram asked Zaeem Qadri about the 14 parliamentarians from PML-N, including Sheikh Akram, Abdur Razzaq Dhilon, Waris Kalon, Hamid Hameed, Ghulam Bibi Bharwana being ready to resign from their seats on the orders of Pir Hameeduddin Sialwi.

Zaeem Qadri replied that the members present there were all disciples of Pir Hameeduddin and no disciple could have refused to offer their resignations when ordered to do so. However, he said, all these MPs also tried to convince Pir Hameeduddin Sialwi. “I am really thankful to Pir Hameeduddin Sialwi for having loosened his stance on Rana Sanaullah’s resignation”, he added.
