Javed Iqbal appointed as Chairman NAB for four years

ISLAMABAD: Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal is appointed as chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for a period of four years and government issued a notification in this regard.

Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal is appointed as Chairman NAB for a non extendable period of four years from the date he assumes the charge of the office.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will hold a meeting on today over the appointment of NAB chairman and then expected to publicly issue its statement on the appointment.

Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly, Khursheed Shah on Sunday confirmed that the retired justice’s name was finalized as the next NAB chairman.
