KARACHI: Pak Sarzameen Party Chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal presented the party’s manifesto on Monday as he lamented the current political situation in the country.
Presenting PSP’s manifesto at Beach Luxury Hotel, Kamal said that it was unfortunate how the politics of protest was currently going on in Pakistan.
“The second largest party in Pakistan, which is the PPP, is currently protesting,” he said. “Throughout the four provinces of the country, parties are taking to the streets in protest,” he added. Kamal said that resources and powers should be transferred to the lower level. He said that the economic situation of the country cannot be reviewed without taking into account the Human Development Index.
“Out of every 10,000 children born, 400 women die during childbirth,” he said. “On an annual basis, 300,000 children aged between 2-7 years of age die,” he added. Mustafa Kamal said that children in the country were dying as a result of unhygienic water and starvation. He said that Pak Sarzameen Party’s manifesto consisted of 27 points, all of which were interlinked with each other.
“When the economic situation of the country improves then everything will get better,” he said. Mustafa Kamal stated that PSP’s election symbol was the dolphin.
