Lecturer killed over old enmity in Charsadda

CHARSADDA: A lecturer of Abdul Ali Khan College was killed over an old enmity in Rajjar village on Thursday. City police SHO Wilayat said that the deceased was on his was home and the rival group opened fire on him in which he died on the spot.

The criminals managed to escape from the crime scene after committing the crime. City police registered FIR against the accused identified as Anwar Said, Naeem Said and Zar Said under the section of 302 ppc.

Meanwhile, DSP Iftikahr Shah said that police is committed to provide protection to the citizen and adding that it is the first priority of police. This was said by DSP Iftikahr Shah in a Kul-e-Kacheri which was organized in Parang on Thursday.

He appealed from the citizen to support the police force in elimination of crimes from the area. Large numbers of residents of the area were in attendance in the gathering.

SHO Parang Manzoor Khan, ASI Samin Jan and other representatives of the departments were present. The residents made complain about the displayed weapons, aerial firing, bikes without number plates, underage drivers and drugs dealer, showed disappointed over the performance of police of the area.

DSP Iftikhar Shah heard all the problems of the locals and said that their protection is their first priority and appealed from the masses for their support. He promised the locals that their every problem will be solved and will make Charsadda free of Crime City.
