Muqam lays floral wreath on grave of a martyr

PESHAWAR: Advisor to the Prime Minister and President KP Chapter of PML(N), Engr Amir Muqam Sunday laid floral of wreath at the grave of a martyr of Agriculture Institute attack at Shangla district.

The PML(N) leader visited the residence of Shaheed Bilal Ahmad at Lewani area in Shangla district and expressed condolence with the members of bereaved family. Later, he visited the grave yard and laid floral of wreath on the grave of late Bilal Ahmad who fell victim to the deadly terrorist attack on Friday at Agriculture Training Institute in Peshawar resulting in killing of nine persons, mostly students, and injuring 32 others.

Talking to newsmen on the occasion, Advisor to the Prime Minister said our enemies cannot dent the spirit of Pakistani nation by carrying such cowardice attacks.

He said attack on the sacred occasion of Eid Milad un Nabi shows that the terrorists are taking guidance from our external enemies and trying to destabilize the country.

He said its time for political leadership of the country to shun differences and get united like a strong wall for the objective of eradication of the menace of terrorism and for protection and safety of the countrymen. Amir Muqam said the parents of martyred Bilal Ahmad deserve highest appreciation for being proud over the sacrifice of their son.

He also held out assurance about payment of compensation amount to all the victims including heirs of dead, serious injured and minor injured.

Muqam said due to effective measures taken by security forces, the terrorists have now started targeting educational institutions and easy targets. They could not succeed in fulfillment of their nefarious designs, Muqam went on to say.

He said government is taking practical measures for eradication of terrorism from the country and in this connection the role of Pakistan Army, Police force and other law enforcing agencies is very commendable.

Like all countrymen, PML(N) President, Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister, Shahid Khaqam Abbasi are also in a state of grief and sorrow over deadly attack on Agriculture Institute, he added. However, he continued, the nation is in high spirit and fully united over the goal of fighting terrorism and for making the country prosperous.
