NAB investigating Saad & Sherpao

Washington DC: The National Accountability (NAB) has quietly stared investigation into the much talked about housing society of Khawaja Saad Rafique, the once outspoken leader of PML(N) who was known for challenging the writ of judiciary and armed forces.

Under the leadership of new Chairman NAB, Justice (R) Javed Iqbal, it is expected that the tarnished image of NAB will be changed once and for all and no corrupt politician or bureaucrat will be spared. In this regard the new chairman NAB has given clear cut instruction to all the regional/provincial heads of NAB that no leniency should be taken against any individual irrespective of their political affiliation.

Khawaja Saad Rafique is already aware of this investigation and has not only opted to cooperate but has also approached certain quarters that if he is provided relief he would be more than willing to provide any sort of evidence needed against Nawaz Sharif and his family. But those quarters have not shown any interest to the offer of Saad Rafique.

Another investigation which the NAB has started is related to Aftab Sherpao. This investigation is related to the story which was originally published in The Frontier Post many years ago.
