No room for dictators laws in democracy, says Marriyum

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information, Marriyum Aurangzeb, has said that the black law of dictator regime was defeated after the amendment bill to the Electoral Reforms Act 2017 was rejected from the National Assembly on Tuesday.

She said that the black law was included in the constitution in the time dictator regime and now it has been removed permanently from the constitution.

Marriyum added that democracy will be strengthen will all these removal of dictators amendments in the constitution and she also congratulated the nation that the rejection of black law from the parliament indicates that only peoples decisions will be prevailing in the country.

She criticized the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, for relying on the finger of the umpire instead of upholding the parliamentary institutions.
