KOHAT: At least 96 suspected persons including seven proclaimed offenders were arrested by police in search and strike operations conducted in different parts of Kohat on Monday.
On the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Abbas Majeed Marwat, police started operations against the criminals of the area in the leadership of SP operations Jameel Akhtar and they arrested 96 suspected persons including seven proclaimed offenders from Jangalkhel, Lachi and other areas of the district. Police also recovered four Kalashnikov, two Kalakov, six repeater guns, three rifles, 15 pistols, 30 magazines, thousands of bullets. The cases were registered against the arrested persons.
