Police arrest Syrian suspected of planning bomb attack in Germany

BERLIN: The federal prosecutor’s office said on Tuesday that Police arrested a Syrian suspected for planning a bomb attack in Germany and target the innocent civilians in large number as possible.

The arrested 19 year old Syrian was identified as Yamen A and as per the officials he was arrested in the northeastern town of Schwerin.

The prosecutor office told that the arrested Yamen A, who decided after July 2017 to detonate an explosive device in Germany with the aim to kill and injured maximum possible number of people.

The office added that there were no evidence or information that the arrested is a member of any terrorist group.

Chancellor Angela Merkel, who is trying to form a new coalition government after elections last month, has come under fire for allowing more than one million people to enter Germany over the past two years – many of them refugees from Syria.
