QUETT: Bomb Disposable Squad (BDS) defused two bombs which were planted by the roadside in Quetta and foiled a major terror plot in the area.
Police told media that a remote control bomb was planted by some unidentified criminals by the roadside in a cycle in Shafi Colony near Saryab Road in Quetta.
BDS and Police reached the spot immediately and blocked road for all kind of traffic. The BDS diffused the bomb and avoided a major disaster in the area.
BDS started search in the surrounding area with the aim to make sure the safety of the masses and they found another bomb which was also diffused and the area was declared clear.
