KARACHI: A policeman was martyred during an operation conducted by police in Malir area of Karachi against the drug runner’s hideout on Friday.
SSP Korangi, Noman Siddiqui told local news channel that police raided the hideout of drug seller identified as Shahzad, and arrested him. But in exchange of fire between the police team and criminals, one policeman identified as Bilal was killed.
After the incident police carried out raids in the area and arrested suspect’s accomplices and relatives, further investigations are under way.
