KARACHI: Seven month old Afghan baby living in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of Karachi was reported as polio affected.
The child belongs to an Afghan family and this is the first polio case surface in Karachi since January 2016.
Sindh’s Emergency Operation Centre (EOC) for Polio showed disappointment and adding that the family had refused to give polio drops to his son on several occasions. They added that if they allowed him then may be the child would have been saved from the crippling disease.
