PPP leader blasts KP govt for its failure

PESHAWAR: The provincial Deputy General Secretary Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Behramand Tangi has said that the PTI-KP government did nothing even single development work and challenged Imran Khan for an open debate.

“Imran Khan Niazi should mind his language about PPP’s Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, otherwise, Jiyalas (workers) will take action against him”, warned he during a news conference here at Peshawar Press Club (PPC) on Tuesday.

He said, “Imran Khan is morally, ethically, professionally and politically a corrupt leader, who diverted politics to abusive language”. He added the Chairman of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) did not know A B C of the politics.

He said co-chairman of the PPP had been put behind bars for years by implicating fake allegations of corruption against him, who he added was exonerated by the court.

Recalling pledges of Imran Khan, the DGS of PPP said that prior to general elections of 2013, the pti chief had promised with the nation for not giving party tickets to those candidates who joined it from other political parties, provision opportunities of employments and justice, equal education system, play grounds in every district, clean and green Peshawar, in which, he added could do even a single development.

He continued that Imran Khan had raised the slogan of corruption-free Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, corruption in every department is on peak. “I can prove that PTI-led provincial is a corrupt government”, he challenged.

Criticizing the PTI performances in the province, he claimed PPP would make clean sweep in upcoming general elections 2018 and make its government alone.

Mr Tangi alleged that Imran Khan is trying to again illegally appoint Akbar Ayub as an Executive Officer (CEO) of Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organisation, who he added was already declared illegal by the court, which a apparent proof of the provincial government.

 

When asked him about the PPP winning chances in by-election NA-4 to be held on 26, 2017, the party representative responded that his party candidate was contesting with two provincial and federal governments but in future, the PPP make clean-sweep in 2018.
