PESHAWAR: Provincial General Secretary of Pakistan Peoples Party (Shaheed Bhutto), Mukhtar Ahmed on Wednesday alleged that those who claim to wipe out corruption from the country are real corrupts and only his party PPP (Shaheed Bhutto) would bring about real change in the country.
The PPP (Shaheed Bhutto) will continue to strive against capitalists and feudalism system wherein some richest people have full control over all national assets while poor are becoming poorer after each passing day, said Mukhtar Ahmed while speaking at a news conference at Peshawar press club. He said that poverty is on the rise in the country owing primarily to the institutional breakdown, rampant corruption and lack of interest on the part of politicians in addressing the issue.
General Secretary further added that citizens of the country have been deprived of basic human facilities like social security, education, health, and employment opportunities.
Referring to the current Pakistan Peoples Party status, he said that current PPP has been hijacked by former President Asif Ali Zardari and his clique while clearly violating philosophy and principals of bhuttoism. He added that PPP workers and general masses have become fed-up of the one-man show of Asif Ali Zardari and are leaving the party and joining the PPP Bhutto which is the real owner of Bhutto’s legacy.
Meanwhile Mian Aurang Zeb Former President of PML-N Youth wing Nowshera District along with Faisal Khan, Syed Sheryar, Niaz Saleem and others have joined PPP- Bhutto. Mian Aurang Zeb reiterated that he will move ahead Bhuttoism philosophy and will continue to work for the party and for the welfare of general masses.
Talking about party position at the helm of upcoming general election, he said that his party PPP Bhutto has already started necessary home work for the upcoming election and soon Fatima Bhutto whom he termed as the real owner of Bhutto’s legacy will visit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
