ATTOCK: Rescue 1122 Attock is timely responding to all type of RTAs (Road Traffic Accidents) and other emergencies despite shortage of manpower.
Officer Incharge Reacue 1122 Attock, Dr Ashfaq Mian said this while talking to this journalist. He while giving details said that at present Rescue 1122 is providing PTS (Patient Transfer Service) through 14 ambulances including handling of road traffic accidents and emergencies.
He said that every month this department recieve thousand of telephone calls but unbeleieveably most ofthe calls are irrelevant, obnoxiius and distorted calls.
Dr Ashfaq said , at present Rescue 1122 is providing services in Tehsil Attock and Tehsil Hazro while in Tehsil Fatehjang, Hassanabdal, Pindigheb and Jand, buildings are under construction and wil be operational soon.
While replying a questiin, Dr Ashfaq said that sanctioned seats of Rescue Staff for Attock tehsil are 149 but only 104 seats are filled and said that because of shortage of staff specially shortage of drivers this department is facing lot of inconvenience.
