MUMBAI: Senior Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor wanted to see Pakistan before he dies and he expressed his wish that his children are able to go to Pakistan to see their roots.
Kapoor said this while expressing his wish on twitter late night. Rishi Kapoor who is originally from Peshawar, Pakistan and wanted to see Pakistan before he dies as their roots were in Peshawar and he also hoped that his children also go to Pakistan and visit the ancestral land and city.
The Kapoor family’s ancestral haveli is located in the Qissa Khwani Bazaar of Peshawar and the house was constructed by Dewan Basheshwarnath Kapoor, father of Prithviraj Kapoor and grandfather of Raj Kapoor in 1918.
