Seerat un Nabi is source of inspiration for Muslims: Governor

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Engineer Iqbal Zafar Jhagra Wednesday said “Seerat un Nabi (PBUH)” was source of inspiration and guidance for every Muslim irrespective of age, creed or any sort of geographical background.

“We are obliged with true strength as being followers of Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him),” he said while addressing a ceremony of Eid-e-Miladun Nabi (SAWS), arranged by the Peshawar based Consulate General of Islamic Republic of Iran here.

Beside others, the ceremony was also attended by Mr. Mohammad B. Beigi, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Governor said that Eid Milad-un-Nabi was the birthday of  Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), which led to elimination of evil practices from human society.

He said “We wish this unique privilege is understood in true sense and maintained and strengthened with sincerity.  This also is  need of the hour and offers a lot of opportunities to further strengthening the bonds of brotherhood at every level as well.”

Mohammad B. Beigi, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran also addressed the ceremony and highlighted the holy life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
