PESHAWAR: Peshawar Police Chief has suspended a station house officer (SHO) Gulberg who opened aerial firing in National Youth Carnival during firework at Qayum Stadium on Monday night.
Taking notice on a video appeared on social media, CCPO Tahir Khan suspended SHO Gulberg Ammad Khan. In a video SHO standing in the huge crowd along with his gunmen opened aerial firing during firework at National Youth Carnival ceremony in the stadium, creating panic among the spectators. The video of aerial firing by SHO circulated on social media, however. CCPO took notice and issued an order of SHO’s suspension and conducted a departmental inquiry against him.
