Shutdown strike in occupied Kashmir against braid-chopping incidents

SRINAGAR: A complete shutdown strike is being observed on the call of resistance leaders in the occupied on Monday against the braid chopping incidents which were reportedly carried out by the Indian occupied forces and secret agencies.

The strike call has been given by Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik. The said that braid chopping incidents is a conspiracy and a effort to stop the people of Kashmir from demanding their right of freedom and adding that such incidents will boost up the struggle of freedom among the people of Kashmir.

As per the local media, more than sixty cases of braid chopping have been registered in the past few weeks from across the occupied valley and adding that braid choppers either spray some chemicals on the face of women to make them unconscious or grab them forcibly and then cut their braids.
