South Korea wants peaceful resolution with DPRK

SEOUL: Presidential spokesman of South Korea, Park Soo-hyun has said that South Korea wants peaceful resolution through dialogues with the North Korea.

This he said while talking to local media persons on Saturday. He added that South Koreas wants dialogues with the DPRK and that could be of various types including bilateral or multilateral ones.

He added that both the governments of South Korea and United States were cooperating closely in efforts to maintain the contact channel with the DPRK and also increasing pressure on the North Korea with the aim to return them to a dialogue table.

Earlier, US Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson said that US was in contacts with the DPRK and the channels were open to Pyongyang.

Park added that the DPRK has never expressed any interest in sincere dialogue over its nuclear program.
