PESHAWAR: The Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khan Khattak has approved special allowance for the officers of the Province working in prosecution department.
A summary regarding the provision of prosecution special allowance and making the existing one as per the market rate/equivalent to the employees of other provinces, was moved to the chief minister through finance department wherein request was made for the provision of the said allowance.
As per the summary details, prosecution allowances were proposed, for the regional director (BS 20) Rs. 50000, for Senior Public Prosecutors (BS 19) Rs. 35000, Deputy Public Prosecutor (BS 18) Rs.25000 and for Assistant Public Prosecutors Rs.20000. The summary was sent to the Chief Minister for approval after deliberate discussion amongst different concerned quarters.
The Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa approved the proposed special prosecution allowances for different categories of officers working in prosecution department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
It is to mention here that the prosecution department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was paid the said allowance with very low rate as compared to the officers of the other provinces and the present decision would help the officers of Prosecution Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to get relax and work devotedly.
It merits mentioning here that the Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Azam Khan played a pivotal role for making the same possible in a short time practically while the Secretary Home and Tribal Affairs Shakeel Qadir also put his efforts behind the same.
