Taliban likely to launch operation against IS in Qoshtipa

SHEBERGHAN: The Taliban fighters were planning and likely to start operation against the Islamic State or Daesh in Qoshtipa district of Jawzjan province.

Qoshtipa District governor, Aminullah Amin told media that, the clashes between the Taliban and Daesh in Khanqah area were started Friday and came to an end in the evening of Saturday.
He added that Khanqah and Baikasar areas are under the influence of Islamic State or Daesh and Taliban wanted to take control from the Daesh in these areas.
