MARDAN: As many as two police personnel were killed in a firing incident in Mardan on early Monday morning.
As per details, some unknown gunmen opened fire on two policemen at Shago Naka check post in which two policemen were killed and they were identified as Hawaldar, Farhad and constable Nawaz on the spot. However, there are no reports of anyone being injured in the incident.
After the incident, the police cordoned off the Malakand road started search operation are underway for the arrest of the attackers.
