10 of a family shot dead by unknown gunmen in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have shot dead 10 members of a family in the Panjsad family area of the capital Kabul, sources said on Saturday.

A resident of the area, who did not want to be named, told Pajhwok Afghan News the predawn incident took place in the limits of the 15th police district at 2:00am.

He said four unknown men gunned down four women, three children and one man. At least two others were injured. Two guests were among the dead.

The family had a dispute, he said, without giving details. A security official, speaking on condition of anonymity, also confirmed the incident.
