JAWZJAN: At least ten Islamic State militants were killed and five others were injured during airstrikes conducted by the Afghan Air Force in Jawzjan province of Afghanistan.
Afghan Military told Afghan media outlet that the airstrikes were carried out in the vicinity of the restive Darzab district. Officials told that forces targeted in Qazal Qeshlaq, Darya Khana, and Pesta Bazar areas of the district.
This comes as the local officials said Tuesday that ISIS militants launched a coordinated attack on security posts in Darzab district late on Monday night.
