QUETTA: At least seven people, including five policemen were killed and more than 20 others were injured in a bomb blast on Wednesday morning.
As per details, Elite force vehicle was targeted at New Sariab area Quetta around 8:30am while it was transporting personnel for duties. The bomb disposable squad collected evidence from the site.
Meanwhile, officials of Civil Hospital told media that seven bodies, including five officials of elite force and more than 20 injured and most of them policemen were brought to the Civil Hospital and CMH. Officials added that five of the injured are in critical condition.
The elite force vehicle was targeted in unpopulated area of the city.
Balochistan Home Minister, Sarfraz Bugti said an emergency has been declared in all the hospitals of the city and health officials trying to provide best facilities to the victims of the blast.
He added that such kind of coward attacks will not deter the morale of the forces and we will eliminate the terrorist activities from the area and will end the war against till the elimination of last criminal.
