Recently, a center was inaugurated in Torkham township for this purpose.”

Meanwhile, the Chamber of Commerce and Investment considers the issuance of work permits to foreign employees in sectors where the country has a need to be effective but emphasizes the importance of creating job opportunities for the youth of the country.

Jan Aqa Nawid, the spokesperson for the Chamber of Commerce and Investment, said, “We suggest focusing more on Afghan professionals, especially those young people who have graduated from universities and are specialists, by providing them with suitable job opportunities.”

Some experts also view the presence of foreign labor as valuable for transferring experience to local citizens in Afghanistan’s job market.

Abdul Zahoor Madbar, an economic expert, said, “Foreign labor can bring better experience, and Afghan workers can benefit from their expertise.”

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced that in the near future, it plans to establish work permit distribution offices at border crossings and airports to facilitate foreign nationals coming to work in Afghanistan through institutions and the private sector.
