LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced to award of $100,000 to each player conditioning it for winning the World T20 Cup.
Chairman PCB made such an announcement in a meeting with team players and officials during his visit to Qaddafi Stadium on Sunday.
Talking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said that this award has no value in front of Pakistan’s victory.
“I hope you will raise the Pakistani green crescent flag this time, Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi said.
Motivating the players, the Chairman PCB said that play without any pressure and fight to win.
Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi said competition should be seen in the field and victory will be for you and defeat will be mine. “Don’t care about anyone, just play for Pakistan”, Mohsin Naqvi said.
Show teamwork on the field, Inshallah win will kiss the steps, said Mohsin Naqvi.
Hope, Shaheen Shah Afridi will give a great performance in the World Cup, Mohsin Naqvi said.
He said the nation has a lot of expectations from you and you have to fulfill them.
He said that we are promoting domestic cricket from school and university levels.
On the occasion, Chairman Mohsin Naqvi gave a special green shirt to Mohammad Rizwan for completing 3 thousand runs and a special green shirt to Naseem Shah for taking 100 wickets in T20 matches.
Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi assured us to solve the problems of the players on a priority basis.
Chairman PCB also hosted a lunch at a local hotel in honor of the players and officials.
