102 Not Out opens on a decent note at the box-office

MUMBAI: Umesh Shukla’s 102 Not Out starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor collected ₹ 3.52 Crore on day one. The movie which reunites the veteran actors of Bollywood after 27 years has not only received a good response from critics but is also being loved by the family going audience.

Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor has played father and son on the screen for the first time. That too being a father son duo of 102 year old and 75 year old respectively. Audience is loving the chemistry of this adorable on screen father-son in 102 Not Out.

The film started slow at the box-office, however the word of mouth lead to a spike in the earnings as the day progressed.

102 Not Out released on May 4, clashing with Rajkummar Rao’s Omerta. The Hansal Mehta’s docu-drama, on the other hand, minted only Rs 54 lakh at Indian box-office. Omertà tells the story of Pakistan-origin British terrorist Saeed Omar Sheikh, who was the master mind behind Daniel Pearl Kidnapping and Murder.
