KARACHI: The second round of Bank Al Habib’s 10th Rashid D Habib Memorial National Professional Golf Tournament 2021 was played today at Karachi Golf Club. Total 102 national golfers participated on the lush green course of KGC.
On Day 2 National Golfer Muhammad Shabbir carded 138 6 under to catch up with first day’s leader Hamza Amin of Karachi Golf Club.
Muhammad Ashfaq and Taimoor Khan hold second day’s second position together with 139 under 5. Waheed Baloch is following them on 5th position with 140 under 4. And tees for best share in PKR 7.9 million prize money continue.
After the first round’s cut 52 golfers will participate in the second round starting on 27th March. This year, the Main tournament is being played over 72 Holes from 25th to 28th March 2021 with cut over final 2 days as per Pakistan Golf Federation’s (PGF) rules. COVID-19 safety precautions were strictly observed during the day.
