NWA public health employees demand pending salaries

PESHAWAR: The All Public Health Workers Union North Waziristan has demanded of the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to take strict action against public Health North Waziristan Junior clerk for his illegally withholding salaries of public health employees.

Addressing a news conference at Peshawar press club here on Tuesday Sher Qader Khan along with Pir Gul Ali Shah Provincial President Public Health Workers Union Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Press Secretary Anwarullah Khan.

They said and alleged that public health junior clerk Faheem has illegally withheld previous nine months salaries of approximately 310 employees including class- IV, tube well operators and other operating staff of public health North Waziristan.

They further alleged that Faheem a junior clerk in public health North Waziristan is involved in rampant corruption in public health department while he also openly confess that he is close aide of additional Chief Secretary Fata.

He added that an inquiry commission was constituted three month ago to probe the corruption charges, wherein inquiry commission found him guilty of over forty lakhs rupees corruption and later on, he also admitted that he occupied the salaries of public health employees.

Faheem, he said is constantly threatening them to withdraw from their salaries claiming otherwise he would show wrong progress report of their service books to the high officials, while the high officials are also making excuse over recovery of our salaries from Faheeem.  “From previous six months we have been trying to approach SDC and SDO Offices but nowhere found any solace, their offices are also closed”. He said.

 

They threatened that if their demand was not accepted within fifteen days they will shut down all the water supply schemes in North Waziristan.
