13 died, six injured in road mishap at Chakri

ISLAMABAD: At least 13 people were died and six others were injured in road accident at motorway near Chakri on Tuesday.

Spokesperson of National Highways and Motorways Police told media that passenger travelling from Jhang to Rawalpindi and was collided with a truck near Chakri and it caught fire after the accident.

The six passengers were injured due to fire in the van and they were shifted to hospital. Meanwhile, the motorway police said that identities of the deceased have yet to be ascertained.
