SAR-I-PUL: Six ANA personnel killed and seven others injured in the Taliban attack in the Sozma Qela district of Sar-i-Pul province on Friday. Governor spokesman Zabihullah Amani said the incident happened in the Gorkab locality.
The Taliban stormed security forces check-posts in the area at around 9:30 pm and beaten back when reinforcement reached, he said. A resident of locality, who wished to go unnamed, said five security personnel killed, eight others injured and a check-post felt to the Taliban in the overnight attack.
The Taliban have yet to comment about the incident. (Pajhwok)
