PESHAWAR: On the directions of Chief Executive PESCO, Task Forces actions against illegal use of electricity and Recovery of dues with the cooperation of Federal and Provincial Govt has been geared up throughout the Province. In this connection Task Forces of Bannu -1 Division disconnected power supply from 2 distribution transformers o due to non payment of Rs.0.24 Million.3 span LT also disconnected,while 18 direct hooks removed.Rs.0.05 Million recovered from defaulters.
Similarly task force of Bannu -2 division power supply from 1 transformers due to nonpayment of Rs. 1.30 Million in Ghoriwala,Rs.0.16 Million recovered from defaulters,14 direct hooks removed.
Similarly task force of Tank division disconnected power supply from 11 KV Umer Adda,Pai,Kot Azam feeders due to nonpayment of Rs.735.0 Million,18 direct hooks removed.
Similarly task force of Karak division disconnected 11 KV Ghurikhel feeder on 65.5% AT&C losses and 95.3 Million arrears,
Similarly task force of Mardan-1 Division removed 87 direct hooks in the areas of City-2 and Gojar Ghari sub divisions,Rs,0.13 Million have been recovered from defautlers.
Similarly Mardan-2 Division teams recovered Rs. 0.92 Million in the areas of gulyara, chargolai, katakat, pai khan,gujrat, jamal ghari, iranabad, sherabad. FIRs have been lodged against 7 persons for using direct hooks.
Similarly Takhtbai Division teams disconnected power supply in several areas from 5 distribution transformers and 2 span LT.Rs.44500/- recovered from permanent disconnected consumers and Rs.623102/- from running consumers.
Drive against illlegal use of electricity and direct hooks will continue, PESCO has once again warned to stop power pilferage in the larger interest of the nation, due to which PESCO has to face financial losses & line losses on one hand and on the other hand PESCO’s whole distribution system gets over loaded and the general public faces inconvenience of frequent power break downs.
