149327 new voters registered in Mardan

MARDAN: With the registration of 149327 as new voters, the total strength of voters in district Mardan has been reached to 1136449.

Talking to media persons, the relevant authorities of district election commission Mardan told that 149327 new voters had so far been registered after the last general elections of 2013. They claimed that 87089 as male and 62338 as female new voters had been registered in the on-going voters’ registration process.

They said that the voter’s registration process would continue till announcement of election schedules for the up-coming general elections in the country.

They said that district Mardan was comprised of three national assembly and eight provincial assembly constituencies.

They also claimed that the total voters’ strength which had been reached to 1136449 after the new increase of voter’s registration in the district was consisted of 664492 as male and 471957 as female voters.
