SYDNEY: Sydney Thunder have created a slice of unwarranted T20 history, crumbling to the lowest score in men’s T20 cricket after Adelaide Strikers bowled them out for 15, with paceman Henry Thornton bagging 5 for 3 and Wes Agar collecting 4 for 6.
Thunder were bowled out in just 5.5 overs. It was the shortest innings in men’s T20 history.
They lost by 124 runs after Strikers had compiled 139 for 9, having won the toss and batted first. Thunder’s batters registered five ducks between them, with fast bowler Brendan Doggett top-scoring with 4 courtesy of an inside edge that ran to the rope.
