LANDI KOTAL: Due to irresponsibility of the incharged headmaster 15 students of government boy’s high school Wali Muhammad Kor, Loy-Shelman could not appeared in the Senior School Certificate (SSC) to be scheduled to start from 14th of March.
The effectees including nine students of grade 9th and six students of class 10th of the state run school identified as Naseerullah, Khlilullah, Hazratullah, Wajidullah etc. while lamenting in the local press club said that as routine months back they deposited their exam forms along with Rs.2200 fees with headmaster Misal Khan Shelmani for the purpose of admission of the board exam.
But the mentioned teacher had not submitted their exam forms and resultedly, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Peshawar refused to issue them their roll numbers, necessary to be appeared in the exam and thus they were deprived of taking their examination. “Unserious attitude and greediness of the headmaster wasted one precious year of our education life which is regretful”, they opined.
Parents of the effected students were on the view that they were resident of remote area and beside of unfavorable financial condition, they wanted to educate their children so that they could shoulder them of earning three times meal for their family and contrary to them, they could become useful citizens of the country.
But the dishonest head teacher shattered their dreams by halting their exam forms they added and asked to make him example for those who played with future of the students. The students demanded of the authorities concerned to take strict action against the allegedly cheater teacher and should be treated as per law. When the mentioned teacher was repeatedly contacted on his phone number for his comments but his phone was found switch off.
