15675 patients facilitated in IBP KTH

PESHAWAR: The reason of starting IBP is to provide quality and specialized treatment to the public on subsidized rate under one roof.

A large number of renowned professors/consultants of the province are practicing in KTH MTI. The patients are coming to the renowned and specialized doctors in different fields and that too in Rs 600. KTH is offering these services on subsidized rate from the private sector and same is the case for other procedures including major operations and minor surgeries.

Majority of the deaths during surgeries in private clinics are because of the non qualified aesthetes whereas in MTI KTH professors are available in the IBP. Private clinics don’t have well equipped ICU, CCU and OT whereas MTI KTH has state of the art CCU and ICU.  MTI KTH pathology reports are generated through state of the art machines and qualified staff unlike private laboratories where they are run by technicians.

Special information desks and complaint cell is introduced to facilitate the patients. Social guide men are assigned to provide information and help the patients and its families. A special porter service is available to facilitate the patients.  All the services are available under one roof.

A total of 15675 patients were facilitated through IBP KTH and 1335 different surgeries were carried out till date.  A committee has been formed for the IBP having professors from radiology, pathology, anesthesia and other departments.

MTI KTH has started IBP Pharmacy and the medicine is available on subsidized rate from the market. Establishment of IBP Pharmacy was a real challenge but with the help of IBP Team it is made possible.

IBP is a huge success because of the hard work of Hospital Director Dr Nek Dad and Medical Director Prof Dr Rooh-ul-Muqim along with the management of the hospital.

All the consultancy fees of the doctors and producers are listed for the guidance of people and to ensure transparency.
