MULTAN: Police Saturday arrested 16 criminals and recovered drugs and stake money from them. According to police sources, police conducted raids at various locations and arrested five drug-peddlers. Teams recovered 10-litre liquor, 120-gram Hashish and 2,500-kg Hemp from them.
The police teams also apprehended 11 gamblers and recovered stake money Rs25,000 and gambling material from them. Separate cases have been registered against the outlaws. Meanwhile, police busted a dacoit gang and recovered looted items and weapons from them, here on Saturday. This was disclosed by SP Gulgasht Jaleel Imran at a press conference here at Shah Rukan-e-Alam police station. Police busted the Rayasti gang and arrested the ring leader Rayasat alias Rayasti and his accomplice Muhammad Nadeem. The police recovered looted valuables including one million rupeesin cash, three motorcycle and weapons from them.
